FAQs
General Questions:
We recommend you arrive at least 15 minutes before your reserved time.
All booking and transactions are made online through our website cdalakeleisure.com with the use of debit or credit card.
We want to serve you and we understand emergencies. Our cancellation policy requires our clients to directly call us 72 hours or more before scheduled start time. Our instructors are paid per lesson they complete and they spend many hours preparing for your particular activity.
Per company policy, we WILL NOT accept cancellations via text or email; all cancellations must be received verbally via phone call 208-518-6200.
If you call outside of business hours, leave us a message with your name, booking details, and reason for cancellation.
Waterblading Questions:
Bring swimwear, towels and sunblock. We provide the Waterblade and a complimentary bottle of water.
There is no limit to where you can go although we recommend cruising the shore line as they are no wake zones and provide a smooth ride.
We provide a tutorial on our site for operations and safety while using this device.
One person per device.
200 lb weight limit per device.
Good for ages 8-16 and must be accompanied by an adult.
Questions About Electric
Grill Boats:
BYO food & drink (per desire), climate appropriate clothing, towels, and sunblock. We provide adult and youth sized life jackets, propane grill, grilling accessories, and complimentary bottled water.
There is no limit to where you can go although we recommend cruising the shore line as they are no wake zones and provide a smooth ride.
We will provide a tutorial on-site and will have an instructional brochure onboard.
Depending on surrounding variables the boats can reach 5 mph but typical speeds are 2.5 to 4 mph. These boats do not cause wakes which means you can safely boat into no wake zones.
1-6 people at a time of 1,200 LBS.
Must be 16+ years of age to book an electric boat. No boating experience necessary.
1,000 lb weight limit per boat.
Yes! Jump off, go for a swim, and then climb back on for your sizzling steak or bubbly champagne.
No, the renter must captain the vessel.
Absolutely! If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there’d be a shortage of fishing poles. *Fishing gear not provided.
Jetsurf Questions:
ALL reservations must take the Idaho Boating Safety Course before their reservation.

The board is built to run on the water, not to idle on the water. The board can easily hold your body weight while the board is moving however you should not chill on the board while the board is idle.
Although we love watching dogs ride a paddleboard, they are not allowed on the Jetsurf board without prior approval. Please email Info@CDALakeLeisure.com for approval.
You could, but we strongly discourage wearing prescription glasses or sunglasses while
JetSurfing. You may lose them in the water if you fall.
You can absolutely bring your own Gopro and capture your time on the lake! Because only one hand is needed to operate the board you can have a tripod mounted device or ask for the helmet mount and capture your adventure hands free.
Swimsuit, towel, and ID unless under 18 years old, and a great attitude. Please arrive dressed and ready to hit the water. If you need to change we have restrooms available. We encourage you to drink plenty of water beforehand.
Regular riders put their left foot forward and hold the control handle in their left hand.
Goofy riders put their right foot forward and hold the control handle in their right hand.
Don’t worry, we have footings for both!
The top speed of our JetSurf boards ranges from 33 mph to 40 mph.
The cruising range of our boards is around 50-55 minutes.
Not really. Of course it makes it easier to have prior board sports experience (longboard, wakeboard, snowboard, etc) but it is not necessary. Even riders without any prior board sports experience usually pick it up within 30 minutes and manage to stand up and ride.

Fliteboard eFoil Questions:
The eFoil uses an advanced lithium-ion battery to power a silent electric motor that’s mounted on an all-carbon fiber hydrofoil, all controlled with a wireless Bluetooth hand controller. Riders can fly for over an hour at speeds of up to 25 mph.
The Fliteboard that we use at CDA Lake Leisure is powerful enough to get you up on foil, or ‘flying’, while laying down, on your knees, seated, or the all time favorite – on your feet. Since it can be flown in a variety of different stances, almost anyone can ride, regardless of athleticism or balance abilities.

The earlier the better. Mother Nature likes to pick up the winds and water currents later in the day. We highly recommend joining us as early as 10 am.
Fliteboard can fly up to 28 miles per hour.
Once fully assembled our boards weigh about 85 pounds. Not a worry for you because our instructors will be carrying your boards to and from the water for you.
You will be provided with land and water instruction from our instructor, Tony. Fliteboard rental, life vest, and helmet.
If you are a surfer, we would advise wearing your usual surf attire. If not, wear swimwear that you will not need to adjust during this activity.
Lessons are paid in full at the time of booking. You can cancel your reservation with no charge up to 72 hours before your trip. If you cancel prior to 48 hours before your trip, you can get a 50 percent refund. If you cancel 24 hours prior to your trip unfortunately we cannot offer a refund.
YES. Fliteboards have a short bluetooth radius for connecting its controller. This stops it from propelling forward once you fall outside of that radius. Once you get back onto your Fliteboard, you can reconnect and start to fly again.
First time clients must have a private lesson with a trainer during their reservation. If you feel confident and your trainer signs off, then any reservation after can be done solo. The full hour can be used for riding.
Our lessons are set up for your fun & safety in mind which does not allow us to split up a lesson for more than one person to a board.

Our Background
Coeur d’Alene Lake Water Sports is a family-owned and operated business. And we offer a one-of-a-kind experience on Idaho’s most beautiful lakes. Tony and Vera started CDA Lake Leisure because they wanted everyone to be able to enjoy the waters without having to breathe in fumes or needing to refuel. You’ll likely see them with their 5 children and 2 doodles on the docks almost daily.
